$950,000 – Settlement – Motor Vehicle – plaintiff was in the process of securing his car to a tow truck, when he was hit by his own car, which had been rear-ended by another vehicle. Plaintiff sustained head and shoulder injuries.

$775,000 – Settlement – Premises Liability – plaintiff was shot by intruder in unsecured building resulting in paraplegia.

$575,000 – Settlement – Nursing Home Negligence – for a resident who suffered from multiple infected pressure ulcers  which became infected resulting in death.

This was a grossly mismanaged facility.

Defense Verdict – Nursing Home Negligence – An upstate 93 year old woman with Alzheimer’s disease died in a nursing home from renal failure caused by dehydration. The jury didn’t think the nursing home was at fault and ruled in favor of the nursing home.
